CA400 – Ritual Garb
This two-part course explores various types
of modern Pagan ritual clothing and the basics of
sewing techniques. Students will learn to choose a
pattern and appropriate material and make their
own ritual robes.
HH400 - Path of the
Healer
What does it mean to be a healer? How does
one tread this path? What are the options and
venues for learning? These questions and more are
discussed in this course as students explore
various methods of healing and are introduced to
what it is like to BE a healer.
HH500 – Introduction to
Religious Counseling
This introduction course reviews the
points and issues raised in the Level 2 course on
Counseling and then expands on them to address the
specific concerns involved in being a religious
counselor. Some issues that will be discussed are
self-identity crises, spiritual confusion,
spiritual support, being a priestess, serving for
rites, and counseling.
Ma400 – Wards/Sigils/Magical Seals
Having learned about talismans and spirit
beings in Level 3, students are ready to look
further at the meanings and used of magical seals
(like the Seals of Solomon), design and create
their own seals, design personal and magical sigil
and how to use them, and create ward including
invoking the aid of spirit beings to support these
wards. This is a preliminary course to the Path of
the Warrior II class as here you learn more
advanced techniques of protecting yourself.
MA500 – Trance &
Channeling
Having learned energy work and techniques
of meditation, students are ready to learn methods
of trance work and channeling. These skills are
necessary for the magical student who wants to
connect with elements, spiritual energies and even
the divine. They are crucial if one wishes to
eventually Draw Down the Sun or Moon in ritual, a
key aspect to many neo-Pagan rituals.
MA600 – Path of the
Warrior II
What does it mean to be a warrior in a
neo-Pagan tradition? What does it mean and what
are the responsibilities of the one who stands
outside the circle with sword or staff? Who are
the Warders and what do they do? This is not a
path for the light of heart. Your heart must sing
with the sense of a warrior and the dance of
battle, the need to protect and uphold the honour
of others... the willingness to stand against all
odds physical and spiritual... to BE the guardian
of the gates. This course will discuss and explore
this path and all it entails. (It is a requirement
for students taking the Warriors Path Specialty.)
PH400 – Coven Dynamics
This course is full of discussions about
how to find, create, and run a coven... including
some of the blessings and challenges involved.
PH500 – Clergyhood
What does it mean to truly be clergy?
What are the roles and responsibilities of Pagan
clergy? Where does one learn and how does one
become one? How recognized are Pagan clergy in a
given community? To what degree are they
recognized legally? These and many more questions
are the topics of this course.
RI400 – Rites of Passage
This series of classes explores traditional
forms of rites of passage and how neo-Pagans can
and do mark them today. Pregnancy, Birth, First
Menses, Rite of Manhood, Union (handfasting/
marriage), Separation (divorce), and death.
RI501 – Liturgy II
This course
explores why a consistent liturgy is beneficial to
your practice. Learn how to formulate a consistent
ritual structure to provide continuity and comfort
to your rituals, and why this is a good idea. It
also examines the requirements of creating an
entire year of seasonal rituals, rites of passage,
and Esbats.
RI502 – Ritual Leadership
This course takes the student beyond the
basics of designing a ritual to planning and
leading a public ritual. Students will discuss and
explore the ways of performance, public attention,
the background management of planning and booking
space and advertising for the rituals, as well as
how to manage with children in ritual or deal with
varying energies in a public ritual setting.
RI600 – Creating a Temple
This two-part course explores the
physical temple space creation and the astral
temple space creation. Students will discuss their
actual temple spaces and create and consecrate
their ideal astral temples.
RI700 – Drawing Down
Deities
This series of classes explores more trance
and channeling work as student learn to draw lunar
and solar energies and aspect deities.
RW400 – Keeping Records
This course
explores the concept of history, of tracing
development (both of the individual and of a
group), and the ethics involved in keeping records
for others. Learn how to keep records for a coven,
for students you teach, and for yourself.
SS400 – Laws: Craft &
Societal
This is a reading/discussion course on the
craft laws, known also as the Ordains. It also
looks at how our modern social laws and our
spiritual practices cross paths.
SS501 – Introduction to
Leadership
This introduction course is designed to
help the student lead small groups in ritual or
discussion. It will discuss coordination and
planning techniques and discuss pitfalls and how
to deal with them. These are important issues for
both the solitary seeking solid grounding and
personal leadership and the student wishing to one
day be clergy to serve the community. (This course
is required for students taking the Pagan
Leadership Specialty Program)
SS502 – Introduction to
Teaching
This introduction course is designed to
help the student understand what goes into the
planning and teaching of Pagan classes, what it
means to be a teacher, evaluating students,
reflecting on teaching techniques. It is a bit of
insight into what it is like to stand in our (the
teacher's) shoes in case the student wish to
become a teacher. (This course is required for
students taking the Pagan Teacher Specialty
Program.)
