Fire Lord Ozai

 That's right! Your favorite imperialist tyrant is taking the spotlight of an Avatar Renaissance Art Contest for the first time! _{...of course... this is the first time we do this kind of thing so...}

Why Ozai? There are many reasons. One is that Book 3: Fire is coming soon, and we will see how the Fire Lord looks for the first time ever in Avatar. This is a big deal, and I know many of you guys are excited for Season 3. Since we have never seen but silhouettes of him only, the contest will focus on this:

Make your best DRAWING of the Fire Lord where we can see his face.

 

And to make it even clearer, that means:
* No manipulations of pictures taken from the web. Original work only.

* It has to be drawn, and preferably painted by yourself. If you only sketch it, it better be a damn good sketch! color is a big factor to score points, but if it's not colored I wont reject it... but still...

* You can color it any way you like, pencils, markers, paint, water colors, potpourri, macaroni... as long as it was colored by yourself.

* Yes, you can draw it with the computer using any program. I would really dislike if anyone presents a badly drawn picture using Paint in 5 minutes. Please people... quality first.

* You can include other characters in the picture, too, but you know... keep the Ozai theme.

* This contest is strictly for Avren Teams. If you are not in a team, but wish to submit art, just join the Art Team for the nation you like most and the submit your entry. To sum it up, the contest is open to all members signed up for a nation --- OPEN but no neutral entries.

So... when's the deadline for the contest? ... I would like to give people enough time to do this well. Instead of giving a firm and definitive deadline, I will announce the last day as soon as we have 5 entries. Did you read well? 5 entries first and then the contest will enter it's final course and be closed soon after.

Tom & ZKZ : Tom did the original pencil sketch and ZKZ added the paint color digitally. Excellent teamwork!

Sukkah : Because it was entertaining and very different. As Sukkah put it, “The reason why no one messes with Ozai…”

Taunt : Taunt did a phenomenal job with his work. After seeing season 3 of ATLA, this seems to actually be the most accurate picture of the Fire Lord. GREAT JOB TAUNT!
